Since 1994, kids age 3-6 have been our specialty! We have developed a top notch curriculum for this age group keeping in mind that dancers this age need the class to keep moving and to have fun while learning. The focus in all of our age 3-6 year old classes is placed on early physical and social development, working on developing and refining gross motor skills and coordination. The class is structured to reinforce social skills such as taking turns and cooperating with others in a group setting.

In fact, we do so well with students in our renowned ages 3-6 year old program, all of our dancers, even the 3 year olds, perform on stage in the spring recital without coaching from the audience or wings! Check out the video clip to the right for scenes from past recitals.

PRESCHOOL/ TINY TOT BALLET will give your little princess, fairy or what else her imagination allows her to be that day, a fun and exciting experience learning ballet! The creative dance component gives young children a positive desire to learn the fundamentals of ballet and keep coming back week after week! Proper French terminology is used when teaching ballet steps to provide a solid foundation. Classes are divided into two age groups, PRESCHOOLERS for ages 3-4 and TINY TOTS for ages 5-6.
TINY TOT ACROBATICS is perfect for your active child. Similar to the gymnastics floor routine without apparatus, (beams, bars, trampolines, etc.) students this age will learn tricks such as bridges, cartwheels, and somersaults. New tricks are learned on mats for safety, but because the end result will be performed on stage, students are transitioned to using the floor. We focus on strengthening the upper body and work on rhythm and timing. Numerous benefits of acrobatics are limberness, strength, balance, a heightened sense of spatial awareness, and increased self-confidence. Classes are offered to students age 4-6.
PRESCHOOL/ TINY TOT TAP students will just love the "clicky shoes" as little ones call them. This class is great for building balance, rhythm and coordination. Working to refine gross motor skills through jumping, hopping and leaping, students become proficient at performing tap steps with both feet giving students an advantage in other physical activities. Classes are offered to kids age 3 and up.
